Did you ever find anything that worked. Have the same problem using 7, but has only happened after I upgraded to Office 2016.
Thanks!

I agree with Rick above. I've wasted way too much time on this problem. I need to get work done and not mess with Intuit's problems. Get it fixed!

This worked for me. win7x64. I did the port reg.bat first though. I don't know if that makes a diff. Also the renaming was important.

Charles, you say you did the port reg.bat first? What? I don't see that info. in the instructions anywhere.

I haven't tested this enough to give a true step by step nor used it long enough to say that it is fixed, but this is what worked for me

After doing the above steps I ended up deleting the printer and allowed Quickbooks to reinstall the print driver. Exited QuickBooks, went to printer properties: Port set to Nul, and under advanced I set the drivers to Amyuni Converter ... 400. Opened QuickBooks, tried sending invoice via email, received 41 error and then tried to resend again and it is now working.

Sorry that this is a quick reply without much detail, but I hope it will help.

Earl

Before anyone tries to help me, please understand that I am not a computer-geek; I know just enough about computers to be considered dangerous. So, be gentle. Don't get all technical on me.

Following the instructions to reinstall the PDF converter, I right-click on the QuickBooks desktop icon and select Properties (Step 1). Then I click on the Find Target button (Step 2) and it takes me to C:\Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks 2008 (2008 Single User was my original version of QuickBooks. I upgraded to 2012 Multi-user in January of 2012.) Step 3 says to double-click the Install Application or Install.exe to install the PDF Converter. I have looked at everything in this window trying to find the Install Application or Install.exe. I can’t locate it anywhere in this window. What else can I try?

I found this new solution from one of the friends:

1. Adjust the QBW.INI file at

C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Intuit

b. Click on the Open File tab and select QBW.INI;

c. Scroll to the bottom of the file and enter the following lines:

[DEBUGGING]

SIMPLEMAPI=1

d. Save and close "QBW.INI"

2. Enable email preview in QuickBooks

a. Ensure that Thunderbird is set as default email program in the internet Browser

b. In QuickBooks: Edit > Preferences > Online > Company Preferences

c. Tick the box Display each email when sending more than one

d. Click OK

Just get "Printer no activated" needs an activation code. As a Mac user this is just stupid, something that should be part of the OS seems to be impossible to do on Windoze!!
