If you know that you have an entry in your register that should match a downloaded transaction, you should go to the register to review that transaction and check the data to make sure it matches the downloaded transactions or make any necessary adjustments (e.g. update the date or fix an amount typo). When you return to the Add Transactions to QuickBooks window, the transactions should be auto-matched. OR the you can simply delete the downloaded transaction and manually flag the register entry for reconciliation (since it has cleared). If a downloaded transaction has been incorrectly matched to the wrong register entry, then you should select the downloaded transaction from the left hand side of the Add Transactions to QuickBooks window and click "Not a match" on the right hand side. This will change the status of the downloaded transaction to Unmatched and move the transaction to the Unmatched list on the left hand side.
