Error OL-200 OL-202, OL-206 or OL-226: "Your last online connection was not completed..."

The error message might also contain an error code such as [OL-200], [OL-202], [OL-206], or [OL-226]
Important: Before proceeding, make a backup of the company file.

Press the Ctrl key while clicking Go Online. A message appears. The steps to take vary, depending on the message.

If the message requests a PIN:

  1. Release the Ctrl key, enter the PIN, and then press the Ctrl key again while clicking OK.
  2. The message: "Your last online connection was not completed. QuickBooks is having a problem recovering from this condition" appears.
  3. Continue pressing the Ctrl key and click OK.
  4. Another message: "Do you wish to resend this request again to your financial institution, do it only after speaking to the Online Banking Technical Support" appears. Continue pressing the Ctrl key while you click OK. The message will close.
If the message states "Your last online connection was not completed. QuickBooks is having a problem recovering from this condition":

  1. Keep pressing the Ctrl key down and click OK.
  2. Another message appears stating: "Would you like to skip resending online transactions? Only do this after speaking to the Online Banking Technical Support."
  3. Press the Ctrl key, and click Yes, which displays a window requesting a PIN.
  4. Enter the PIN and click OK. This clears the stuck request allowing connection to the online bank account and access to transactions.
