QuickBooks online banking lets you match transactions using a side-by-side view (Side-by-side mode) or a more classic register view (Register Mode).
In Register Mode, you match transactions in a window that looks identical to the window for matching transactions in QuickBooks 2008. Use the Checking category in the Preferences window to switch between Register Mode (from QuickBooks 2008) and Side-by-side Mode (from QuickBooks 2009). It is recommended that you contact your financial institution to verify account information and that there is no server maintenance occurring before attempting doing any of the following steps.
